I am a
Wife, Mother, Daughter and Best Friend.
I feel that I have the perfect life. I am happily married
for the past 15 years to my very best friend. We have been
blessed with two beautiful and funny little girls. I also
have the best job in the world. Sometimes it doesn't even
feel like a job at all because I find true Joy in it. Not
only is it relaxing and fun to work on the photos, but I
then hear how happy my customers are and that makes the job
even more rewarding.
I didn't realize
I had any artistic talent until I was 20. I tried doing a little freehand for the first
time, and was shocked to discover that it was so easy for
me. I found some photos of my friends and I would
freehand the picture onto a piece of paper. Then I thought,
wouldn’t it be great if I could improve on the subject just
a little bit. I would say this should have been my
first clue that this would have been a great career field
for me.
I received
my first computer as a gift for Christmas from my parents in
1996. I started out learning
all about the computer programs and designing my own website
graphics. It didn’t take long before
I discovered that you could manipulate photos just like you
could manipulate graphics. I started enhancing Beauty
Pageant headshots for my little girl, who competed
nationally. Before I knew it, I was doing work for my
pageant friends and they were telling their friends, and
they were telling their friends, and so on. The more I
practiced the better I got. At that time I was wanting to
bring in a little extra money, but really wanting to be home
with my little girls, and thankfully I was able to figure
out a way to do both.
I have tried a lot of
photo editor programs and the one that I am currently using
is the best on the market. I can do things now that I
couldn’t have dreamed of doing before. It is a time
consuming process to learn what works best. I still find new
things that work better then others and I will continue to
learn and improve my techniques.
I enjoy doing all types of photo

enhancements for those who are wanting a natural look. Every actor, actress,
model, comedian, and even realtors are having their
headshots enhanced. I will happily keep you looking natural, with
light retouching. Plus it is considered a business expense,
so it will be tax deductible. There is no reason to not have
your photos looking there very best without looking fake or
having to use untouched photos. You could save a lot of time
and money on wasted headshots, thanks to the possibilities
of today's digital enhancements.
